On this powerful day of service in the Bronx, NY, the mission of Habitat for Humanity came to life through action, sweat, and solidarity. Known for creating affordable housing and revitalizing neighborhoods through hands-on volunteer work, Habitat brings people together to build not just homes—but hope.

This particular build was especially meaningful. A historic church, once a spiritual cornerstone of the community, is being transformed into stable housing for families in need. And on this day, the entire worksite was filled with the strength, skill, and heart of women volunteers.

Among them were the women of London Fletcher’s organization, bringing the same values that have defined his legacy—leadership, service, resilience, and faith in community.
