Harlem's Fashion Row - New York Fashion Week Show Recap

New York Fashion Week is a special time in NYC. As with most things, Black culture IS the culture. The Harlem’s Fashion Row event reaffirmed that not only are we the culture, we are The Table as well. HFR honored Jason Bolden, Nikki Ogunnaike, Christiane Pendarvis, Ruth Carter, Usher, and showcased Latuche Atelier Indigo and Daveed Baptiste. I will say, as set-ups go, Cipriani Downtown is a fantastic place to shoot. It’s very well-lit with multiple interesting spots to get good shots. I was able to use my telephoto lens for the runway and stage shots, then switched to my 45-100 and 2-60 for the close-up shots.
Shout out to Brandice Daniel and her team for executing an incredible show. I am definitely inspired to create more.
