Hip Hop Closet’s 2nd annual block party powered by Brooklyn Navy Yard Yard Beats and Eats Festival was an event full of amazing energy! Great people, great energy, great vibe, and great music at HipHop Closet’s 2nd annual block party made it feel like a big family BBQ. Once the rain subsided and the sun popped out, the people came in droves. Over 3,000 people listened to the Ted Smooth, DJ Saucee, Mike Doelo and Late Development provide the vibes. East Coast Street Tacos, Bad Mon Jerk Chicken, and Notorious Nuggets, and Pizza Yard helped feed the people. Rustik Tavern, Transmitter Brewing and Brooklyn Roasting kept everyone hydrated. Hip Hop Closet, Walker Wear and KIC NYC had the latest gear to keep everyone fresh. 40 plus Double Dutch Club and Philly Girls Jump took us back to our childhood with a whole double dutch competition. The Brooklyn Navy Yard supplied games and seating for comfort and fun. Check out some of my pictures from the event, and visit the Instagram pages of the many vendors who helped make the block party special.
